826 Origami Store

Store Identity: Stationary, Products, Product Labels, & Instructional Pamphlets

Goal

826 seamlessly combines an engaging retail experience with a children’s literacy program. Through my research, I selected a store centered on origami. The store’s mission is to introduce diversity to Burlington and educate consumers about Asian culture, while also sharing the history behind origami. Origami is a hands-on, playful activity that appeals to a young audience and, most importantly, promotes cultural awareness.

Concept

Origami paper is traditionally square, and this theme is echoed throughout the stationery collection. The letterhead folds from a standard letter size into a square, transforming into an envelope. This versatile design highlights the multifunctional nature of paper and reflects the educational focus of the mixed-use store.
